Fit at Any Age

A Fitness Lifestyle is part of a total wellness lifestyle approach designed to help individuals achieve their fitness, wellness and weight loss goals.

As a wellness coach my mission is to empower baby boomers, older adults and younger adults to tap into their inner self to achieve the fulfillment of a healthy lifestyle and to be “Fit at Any Age”. You can be fit over 40, 50, 60 or at any age.

My approach focuses on motivating individuals to develop their own fitness plan to include up to five major areas of fitness focus - flexibility, endurance, strength, power and anaerobic training.

Fitness Lifestyle Coaching

Fitness Lifestyle Coaching empowers individuals to transition from a set of habits and customs that have been influenced by a life-long process of socialization, including dietary habits, and exercise, to a balanced lifestyle of healthful living – including a balance of nutrition, exercise, and emotional health.

My whole person approach to wellness promotes healthy fitness choices, including healthy food choices and behavior modification designed to help individuals achieve their fitness, wellness and weight loss goals.

As your motivational wellness coach I will work with you to develop the tools and strategies that work best for you to achieve them. I will focus on the importance of combining a fitness lifestyle with other areas that effect healthful living, including balancing nutrition, exercise, emotional health, intellectual health, and spiritual health.

My approach to wellness is focused on a lifestyle that is concerned with total fitness - cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, body composition, coordination, and balance. I have found that cross-training at any age enhances your total fitness.

Find Your Fountain of Youth by Achieving Fitness

Nothing can stop the natural progression of time, but you can control how your body ages by focusing on “fitness at any age”. A “whole-person” fitness lifestyle can turn back the clock for you and let you tap into your own natural “Fountain of Youth”.

Many middle age or older adults are suffering from high cholesterol, heart attacks, arthritis, obesity, neurological disorders, and a general lack of energy.

Regular exercise and physical activity helps to control obesity and is important to the physical and mental health of almost everyone, including older adults. Being physically active can help you continue to do the things you enjoy and stay independent as you age. Regular physical activity over long periods of time can produce long-term health benefits.

Strategic Fitness Plan for a Healthy Lifestyle

Inactivity leads to decline in four areas that are important to staying healthy: flexibility, endurance, strength, and balance. Fortunately, research suggests that you can maintain or at least partly restore these areas at any age by developing your own Strategic Fitness Plan than you can follow for a lifetime.

My approach to wellness focuses on four types of exercises aimed at keeping you “Fit at Any Age” plus two additional areas for those interested in advanced fitness:

  • Flexibility
  • Endurance
  • Strength
  • Speed
  • Power
